Since I started my own business, I have tested quite a few tools. Some have been with me since the beginning, others have been added over time.
But one thing is for sure: while writing this article, I realized that I need a lot of tools to run my business.
I choose them to be practical and easy to use so as not to bother with a surplus of unnecessary technology. The goal is that they make my life easier to manage my daily organization, the creation of my training courses, my posts on social networks or even my website.
I thought that some of them could be just as useful to you as they are to me in managing your business. That’s why I suggest you discover my 22 entrepreneurial tools today.
My entrepreneur tools: organization category
Organization and I are two (you wouldn’t think so, but clearly… it’s not my strong point).
The only problem is that to manage my business, I had to learn to organize myself in a certain way. It’s simple: without my tools, I would be lost.
Tool #1: Google Suite
Google offers many useful tools for entrepreneurs. The Google suite offers access to email boxes, but also storage space, word processing tools, spreadsheets, surveys, a videoconferencing tool, a calendar, etc.
Personally, I use it daily for specific actions such as:
- process my emails with Gmail
- store all my data (training videos, scripts, blog posts…) on Google Drive
- write my sales pages, my blog articles, my scripts… with Google Doc
- manage my editorial schedules and client response templates with Google Sheets (even if very recently these two elements have moved to Notion)
- create surveys that I distribute to my students in order to understand their needs and collect their opinions using Google Forms
Tool #2: Concept
Recently, my team and I switched to Notion.
Notion is an online application for note-taking, database management, calendars, reminders, etc. The free version is sufficient if you do not need to share your information with more than 5 collaborators, partners or clients.
You simply need to create an account and you can use it for your personal organization, but also to share tables with your clients if you are a freelancer, to share a collaborative workspace with your team in order to manage your entire business…
In the Concept of Feminine Ambitions, we have integrated:

- The editorial calendar for blog posts and Instagram posts.
But the possibilities are endless. You can make to-do lists (personal and professional), plan a travel project, manage your finances…

Tool #3: WhatsApp
Whatsapp is an instant messaging application that works with a phone number (but you can use it anywhere in the world as long as you have an internet connection… which is very practical for me as an expat even if I have to use a VPN to make calls).
On Whatsapp, you can:
- send text messages and voice messages
- send attachments (images, videos, pdf documents, etc.)
- make voice and video calls
- without surcharge on your phone plan
All these features allow me to stay in touch with my team, but also to create private groups for students who subscribe to the premium formula of my training courses (Business formula
In private groups, my team answers questions that my students ask and it also allows them to interact with other entrepreneurs to create their own network, support each other, help each other and motivate each other.
Tool #4: Zoom
Zoom is a video conferencing software that allows you to communicate with one or more people at a time. It works with a camera and microphone.
I don’t use my camera because I decided not to show myself but Zoom allows me to host my masterclasses live and record them to broadcast the replay afterwards.
I also use Zoom for my team meetings, my appointments with potential partners, etc.
With the free plan, you can host up to 100 people at a time but you will be limited to 40 minutes for group meetings.
The €13.99/month per host plan removes this time limit (increased to 24 hours).
Tool #5: Antidote
Antidote is a spelling and grammar correction software as well as a writing aid in French and English.
Personally, I only use it as a proofreader to make it easier for me to correct texts.
The tool underlines the word with a mistake and suggests a correction by giving you the explanation. The software is compatible with Windows and Mac and is also available on mobile. For an individual subscription, it costs €59 per year.
But if you don’t want to invest in a proofreader right from the start, you can also use the free alternative Scribens. You just have to copy and paste your text and click “check”. It will then highlight the spelling, grammar and punctuation errors and tell you the correction.
My entrepreneur tools: social networks category
Instagram is my favorite social network but I am also present on Facebook and Pinterest. Needless to say, creating publications and scheduling them on three social networks can become a real gas factory if you don’t use any tools!
Tool #6: Canva
Canva is a graphic design platform that will save your life if you want to create visuals (for your social networks for example).
No need to be a graphic designer, just select the format you want to create (Instagram story, Instagram post, Pinterest pin, etc.) and use the templates available to you (or create your own templates).
You can import your fonts, use the colors of your graphic charter, add your logo, images, gifs…
Personally, I use it to create my social media visuals but also for the cover images of my blog articles, to create my training slides or even to create my ebooks.
There is a free version of Canva, but to access more images, templates and graphic elements, you will need to subscribe to the professional version of the site (which I recommend as it makes my life easier and saves me time).
With the paid version, you can save your logos, your colors… and you have access to lots of additional resources. So if you use the tool regularly, it’s an investment that I highly recommend.
Tool #7: Giphy
Giphy is a search engine where you will only find gifs. I use it to search for gifs that illustrate my posts on social networks (that’s where I find all my Mr. Bean gifs…).
The only downside is that it’s an American site so you have to do your searches in English. You can also decide to create your own gifs for Instagram (I explain how to do it in.
Tool #8: Tailwind
Tailwind is a social media management site. I use it to schedule my pins on Pinterest. But you can also use it for your Instagram account.
Pinterest is a tool that is often overlooked by entrepreneurs. However, depending on your field of activity, it can be very interesting to develop your presence there.
It is a search engine more than a social network that allows you to bring qualified traffic to your site.

Tool #9: Creator Studio
Creator Studio is Facebook’s scheduling tool. I use it to schedule all my posts on Instagram and Facebook.
You can also use it to analyze the effectiveness of your content (including using your post statistics and audience data) and to advertise on Facebook and Instagram.

As much as I don’t like technology, I had to choose tools to help me create my courses. Luckily, I don’t need many and the three I use are pretty easy to get started with.
Tool #10: Mindmeister
Mindmeister is an online mind mapping application. I use it to create my mind maps.
A mind map is a visual representation of your thoughts. You start with a main idea and make connections to other ideas.
This is a very useful tool when creating a training. If you have already followed one of my trainings, I provide you with the mindmap of the training from the beginning so that you know exactly what you will find in it.
Tool #11: Demo Creator (formerly Filmora Scrn)
formerly Filmora Scrn, is a screen recording software compatible with PC and Mac.
In addition to recording your screen, you can also record your voice via your microphone and/or your image via your webcam, simultaneously or separately.
This tool makes my life easier because I also use it to edit my training videos: I record both my screen and my voice through the microphone.
Once the screen is recorded, I can crop the video, change the speed, add annotations and then export my videos in MP4, MOV or GIF format…
A great time saver to have an “all-in-one” tool.
Tool #12: Vimeo
Vimeo is a platform for hosting professional quality videos without ads for users. I use it to host all my training videos in private mode (.
You can test the service for free but you will be limited to 500 MB/week of storage space (and up to 25 GB/year). You will then have to upgrade to a paid subscription between €5 and €40/month depending on the package chosen.
My entrepreneur tools: website category
To manage my website, I can’t do without certain tools. Ionos, Divi, Systeme.io and Thrive Leads are among my essentials that I recommend with my eyes closed.
Tool #13: Ionos
(formerly 1&1) is both my website host and my domain name provider.
A web host allows you to store your site and keep it secure. They usually offer to buy your domain name, which corresponds to the name of your website: in my cases ambitionsfeminines.com.
Tool #14: Divi
is the editor of my WordPress site. It allows me to create and modify all the pages of my site. Thanks to this page builder, the possibilities are endless to customize your site to your image.

Tool #15: Systeme.io
is a tool that I really like (you can find by following the link) and which brings together a lot of features.
Personally, I use it for:
- create my sales funnels
- host my training courses
- manage my affiliates
- collect payments for my training courses
- send my emails to my subscribers
But you can also create your website using this tool, build your sales pages, manage your email lists, find affiliate products… It’s been my favorite tool since I discovered it when I started out, in 2018.
Tool #16: Thrive Leads
part of the Thrive Themes suite. I use it to capture email addresses on my blog. Systeme.io also offers this feature but I find it more complex than with Thrive Leads.
When I bought it, the Thrive Leads tool was available for sale alone. Today, it is part of a pack of tools in the Thrive Themes suite. Not all of them will be useful to you, but some are worth it, such as Ultimatum or the quizzes for example (I invite you to read my full article on the .
My entrepreneur tools: payments category
To collect payments for my training courses on my website, I use two main tools: Stripe and Paypal.
Tool #17: Stripe
Stripe allows me to accept payments on my website anywhere in the world. It is secure for me and for my clients who only have to enter their card numbers to pay for their purchase of one of my courses.
The tool is free to install but a commission is charged for each operation:
- 1.4% + €0.25 for European cards
- 2.9% + €0.25 for non-European cards.
Stripe also allows me to offer payment in installations.
Tool #18: Paypal

On my site, I also gave my customers the option to pay via Paypal. The platform also allows for payment in installations.
It is free to install, like Stripe but fees apply to each transaction. The fees applied vary according to many criteria that you can find.
Customers always need some guidance for the new products they purchase, so sharing product demonstration videos or live sessions through WhatsApp will be helpful for them. Product demonstrations should highlight the benefits and features of the new product purchased by the customer. It can be pre-recorded and later shared with multiple customers to aid product performance and usage.
Stripe is much more advantageous than Paypal in terms of fees and exchange rates (when you have a Paypal account in another country).
But depriving yourself of Paypal means missing out on potential customers. Many people pay for everything via Paypal (me included). It has happened to me that I didn’t buy a product because I couldn’t be bothered getting up to get my card.
My entrepreneur tools: expatriate category
WhatsApp Business: Using the WhatsApp Business app or API to set up a business profile, automate messages and manage customer interactions.
WhatsApp Groups: Create and manage WhatsApp groups related to your business to share updates, deals and engage with customers.
Broadcast: Sending mass messages to your WhatsApp contacts about promotions, new products or other updates.
Interactive Content: Sharing interactive content such as polls, surveys or quizzes to encourage engagement and collect customer feedback.
Customer Support: Providing customer support and answering inquiries directly through WhatsApp.

Tool #20: Wise (formerly Transferwise)
Wise (formerly Transferwise) allows you to transfer money online all over the world. I use it to make my international transfers at a low cost (1% of the amount transferred).

Tool #22: Cyberghost
