Becoming an infopreneur: 13 essential qualities to stand out from the crowd

Do you want to launch your online training and are you wondering if you are cut out for it?

I know well this imposter syndrome that can take hold of You wonder if is for you, if you will succeed in creating your training and if you will succeed in selling it.

Becoming an infopreneur is a great way to stop trading your time for money and have more freedom to enjoy your loved ones.

Today, many people want to get involved in infopreneurship because it is a lucrative and “easy” to access sector that is much talked about.

It’s an accessible profession that may seem easy. But I don’t think it’s for everyone.

For me, there are certain qualities necessary to succeed in this environment and that is the objective of this article: to enlighten you to know if you have the right profile or not. Before we get into the necessary qualities of a trainer, I would like to start by talking about the qualities that you may think are essential and that are absolutely not. I have been there too. These are beliefs and you should not let them block you from launching your online training.

Be a technical ace
I am living proof that you don’t need to be a technical whiz to be a trainer.

I hate technique and yet it didn’t stop me from getting started and succeeding. In all transparency, at the beginning, my training courses were basic from an aesthetic and technical point of view. But they still worked because the content was qualitative and met the expectations of my students.

You can create a simple and effective training. The content will always be more important than the form. And it will be possible to redesign your training when you are more comfortable with the technical tools.

This is what I did with my two training courses.

And if you need help, in my Ambition Formation training,

I teach you how to master the essential tools for design training.

You can get a preview of the full training by joining my free training to help you find your own profitable training idea and create it in 30 days.

Receive the training offered
Have professional equipment
You also don’t need to have the latest equipment to create your training.

When I designed my first training, I had an old, underpowered computer and was using my phone’s headphones as a microphone.

You can make do with what you have and use simple, free tools when you’re starting out. The only investment I recommend you make as soon as you can is a microphone, especially if your sound is too bad with your computer or phone.

Being comfortable in front of the camera

If you don’t feel comfortable or don’t find yourself photogenic, there’s no obligation to record yourself on video. You can create your training with just the sound of your voice.

You don’t have to show yourself on camera to design and develop your training. I have never shown my face since I started on the internet. And I am not the only one who does not want to show myself. However, that has not stopped me from selling my training.

To be an absolute expert in your field
There is also no need to be an absolute and recognized expert in your field to develop training. You do not need to have a bac+10 in your profession (except of course if you work in a specific field such as medicine or law) .

Your professional and/or personal experience, your knowledge on the subject may be enough. Even if you feel you have an intermediate level and still have a lot to learn, your experience can help beginners get started (and between us, we are never experts. We continue to learn and discover throughout our lives).

Becoming an infopreneur: human and educational qualities above all

Now that we have talked about the non-essential qualities to be a trainer, let’s look at the fundamental qualities of any good trainer for me, starting with human qualities.

And this number is increasing at a very fast  iceland whatsapp number data 5 million pace. Now there are many people who use multiple mobile phones to keep their communication system in order. And this mobile phone is one of the means of customer information collection. Because almost all mobile users are connected to the internet. So as the number of these users increases the need for digital marketing will also increase.

Quality #1: Be passionate and have mastered your subject
You have to teach a subject that you love and that you master. For me, that’s the basis. It might be complicated to teach something that you don’t like and/or that you don’t master at least a little bit.

You need to be able to talk about it for hours and be able to answer questions that are asked of you. Without being an absolute expert, you can’t charge people for training on a subject that you don’t know. That would be a scam.

Continue to train yourself, update your knowledge regularly to be able to respond to your learners and provide them with value.

Quality #2: Enjoying sharing your knowledge and helping others

For me, a competent trainer likes to pass on his experience and knowledge. Personally, it is the desire to help that drives me to create my training courses.

When I started, I encountered problems, I had to search, I lost time and I want to avoid my students going through that.

Wanting to help seems essential to me to do your job as a trainer well. If you are only attracted by money, I am not convinced that you can create a real relationship with your students…

Quality #3: Being a good listener
It seems essential to me to listen to your students, to identify their needs and problems in order to respond to them, adapt and modify the content of the training based on the feedback.

It is also with the help of feedback from my students that I was able to completely overhaul my first training. I grouped together all the recurring questions, all the difficulties they could encounter and I adapted my training so that it was 100% tailor-made.

Quality #4: Being a teacher
Pedagogy is one of the essential skills of trainers in my eyes. You can be an excellent professional but a poor teacher if you are not able to:

Simplifying complex concepts
Put yourself in the student’s shoes
Adapt your vocabulary
A complex concept must become easy to understand for the learner using various teaching methods: videos, tutorials, theoretical courses, practical exercises, checklists, etc.

You must be able to use teaching tools to facilitate understanding and taking action

Quality #5: Having the ability to  asia mobile numbers list targeted summarize and know how to get straight to the point
For me, it is important to get to the point and not beat around the bush in order to keep the students’ attention in each training module.

There is no need to add chapters and talk for hours if you can summarize your thoughts in a few minutes. You don’t want to waste your students’ time. On the contrary, they should be able to take action and experience what they have learned quickly.

Quality #6: Having a logical mind
You can’t create a training course if you don’t have a logical mind. The objective of the training course must be clear and you must take your students from point A to point B in a structured and chronological manner.

With each concept covered, with chapter each validated, the student must be able to apply what he has learned. If your training is disjointed and complicated to follow The student will not take action and will even be disappointed with his purchase.

Quality #7: Knowing how to express yourself clearly and distinctly (without being a speaker either)
You must be able to express yourself clearly and distinctly. You don’t need to have won an eloquence contest, but you must have good diction and give rhythm to your words. Avoid stammering all the time, speaking too softly, too quickly or too quietly.

Personally, I’m not very comfortable speaking. So I write all my scripts with the oral version in mind so as not to read monotonously. When I move on to reading, it stops me from stammering and searching for words.

Quality #8: Be available
For me, follow-up after purchasing a training course is essential. You have to be available to answer questions, create a connection and help students if they encounter difficulties. You can do like me and make Whatsapp groups available to your students so that they can ask their questions.

This is called social proof and it will allow you to sell better.

The interest is therefore twofold: the satisfaction of your students and your success

But the goal is also to be able to make a living from it.

It’s a win-win exchange: your students gain skills and you can earn money as a trainer.
