Those who know my atypical career path ( from web editor to copywriter ) often ask me how I learned copywriting and if I recommend any training.

This profession, still little known outside the web marketing world , is starting to experience all the success it deserves. Why? Because the art of selling with words is a valuable and rare skill that few people master due to lack of knowledge.

Before I purchased the best (and only) copywriting training I recommend, a lot of things happened… quite surprising to me.

A few months ago, I told you about my journey as a copywriter . At that time, I was just starting out and it seemed completely crazy to me to charge more than €1,000 for sales pages .

That day, I was not feeling very confident at all! It was a bit of a bluff, because I felt really stressed about offering that price. I didn’t have confidence in my skills yet.

But on the other hand, the person had an urgent need for his business and the working conditions were special… It was in the middle of the summer holidays. I had to work at night, quickly and well, for a person who had a love of a job well done. I was missing a few elements to write well… So I tried. I had nothing to lose (except a few sleepless nights working) and everything to gain .

When the client accepted, I moved up a gear.

The mission went very well, with a person in love with his new sales page. And this milestone allowed me to become aware of the value of my work .

By gaining confidence in what I was doing, I was more comfortable communicating on social networks. Word of mouth happened very quickly and quite naturally, without needing to communicate more than that.

Finally, in the copywriting market, there are not many good copywriters . They can’t handle many projects at the same time. If I take my example, I have never worked on more than 3 projects at the same time, and I will never do it again because it is too much work.

Copywriters’ schedules fill up very quickly and the waiting times for a new project are very long. This makes the search for copywriters even more difficult for clients.

With experience, I started to want to offer more to my clients . I thought (timidly) that a coaching offer could bring them better results.

Why? Because when you write a sales page and your client

has good digital marketing, the results are there.

On the other hand, when people have more difficulty communicating around the launch of their product, the results are not necessarily up to par. And that is a real problem.

The more time went by, the more I wanted to start coaching . But I still had this imposter syndrome that clung to me… Then one day, while chatting with my friend Virginie from the Islagraph blog, she suggested that I be her “guinea pig” to test this new format of services.

She was launching her next training “ Islagram ”. She was interested in being coached and that’s how my new adventure as a copywriter began.

I billed him for my sales page and the mailing (which I had increased the price of again since the “trigger” mission to €1,000). The coaching was a gift!

And there, the results were crazy… We made more than 300 sales!

At that moment, I clearly saw the difference with and without coaching. This collaboration with Virginie gave a new direction to my business. Since that day,

I then started to really communicate about my coaching offers . And I immediately had 4 clients, 3 of whom were launching at the same time (fortunately I hadn’t accepted more, otherwise I don’t think I would have survived ^^). It’s simple, in the last quarter of 2019, I didn’t stop.

I worked a lot during this period, always with incredible results. In particular, one of my clients who successfully launched with a turnover of €28,000 . And since its launch 6 months ago, if we smooth out her sales monthly, she earns around €7,000 per month with the system we have set up.

When I started copywriting, I had no idea how powerful it could be for a business. It’s an essential skill in my opinion because copywriting increases your sales exponentially (and therefore your turnover).
